Service Coordinator

Ignition Marine, a premier boat and yacht sales and service center, is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position involves planning and managing the delivery of exceptional services while fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and technicians. The ideal candidate shall excel in customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills, ensuring quality and timely service for all customers.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain professional relationships with clients through open communication and exceptional customer service.
Understand customer needs and respond to inquiries promptly and consistently.
Schedule and manage customer appointments to ensure satisfaction.
Develop and sustain strong working relationships with vendors.
Oversee the parts ordering process, including ordering, receiving, and shipping parts to meet project goals.
Coordinate and dispatch services, assigning technicians to tasks effectively.
Communicate daily with the service manager and technicians to ensure work orders are on track and on schedule.
Handle unexpected challenges with respect, clarity, and effective problem-solving.
Maintain accurate records of service requests and work orders.
Monitor work order progress to ensure seamless service delivery.
Utilize critical thinking to resolve issues efficiently.
Promptly answer emails and telephone inquiries.
Adapt to and learn new software programs and applications.
Implement and uphold the 5S workplace organization principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

Stablish strong communication with the clients and provide continuous updates on their request.
Possessing a strong positive attitude and respect for other company members in the company.
Committing to a strong relationship with the vendors and making sure that all parts have been ordered and received within the specified timeline.
Having a strong skill in scheduling the technician task and having a track of the service by technicians.
Managing the incoming appointments in a timely manner and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Daily communicating with the service manager and technicians to ensure the completion of the works and updating the services.
Schedule the delivery of the parts in the client’s requested manner.
Answer the email and incoming calls promptly.
Excellent time management.
Ability to learn the new software and have high computer skill.
Highly organized person who follows 5S rules.
Strong management skill.
Marine experience would be an asset.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in the parts/service department of a marine or auto dealership industry.
Highly proficient in scheduling and time management.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
Extremely organized, with well-developed conflict management skills.
Excellent communication skills, a positive outlook, and a genuine respect for others.
Proficient in computer skills, including software and applications.
Marine industry experience would be an asset.

Having a minimum of one year of experience in the part/service department of the marine or auto dealership industry is a must.
Highly proficient in scheduling, time management, and working in a fast passed environment.
Highly organized person and ability in conflict management.
Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Highly proficient in computer skills.
